Hashtag that best describes you or your philosophy: #mindset

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: The most important lesson I’ve learned through athletics is that it’s not all about you, it’s about the team and what you do to help the team.

What are your pre-game rituals?: My pre-game rituals are to make sure I have a good meal and to get to the game early to make sure everyone else is ready.

Who is a baseball player (at any level) you look up to, and why?: I look up to my teammates as well as major leaguers. Derek Jeter is probably the player I look up to the most as he wasn’t the most talented but worked the hardest and helped his team in the biggest situations.

What do you love about representing Penn High School?: I love representing our school and beating the bigger schools and going for the state championship.

What traits do you love in a team leader?: The traits that I like in a team leader is not necessarily speaking up but leading through example and doing everything correctly.

What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: I would give the freshman advice to pick an upperclassmen that knows what they are talking about and is helpful to guide them through the learning process.

What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: I think my favorite sports movie is “Remember the Titans” because they form a brotherhood with each other even when the times may have not called for it.

What is your favorite pig-out food?: I love eating ice cream and I try not to eat it too much because I can’t seem to stop myself once I do.

What do you love about your sport?: The thing I love about baseball is that it’s a super mentally challenging game where you fail most of the time and you’re still a great player. It’s a game of confidence and I love it.

If you can have lunch with any living person, who would it be, and what would you talk about?: I think I would eat with either Michael Jordan and talk to him about his mindsets he has and talk about what he did to better himself everyday as well as helping his team.
