Landon Willis is a junior at Penn. He is a forward and plays on the Penn JV Black Soccer Team.
How do you think this soccer season will be?
“I think we have the talent to go far. We just need to fix the little things and play better as a team.”
What do you think will be the biggest game coming up this season?
“Probably Marian, I know some players on their team and they are good this year.”
Who do you connect with the best on the soccer team and have the best chemistry with?
“Probably Harrison because I know him better than some of the other players.”
Where do you think will be the hardest place to play this year?
“Probably sectionals which I believe are at Adams this year.”
How do you think your play will impact the entire program?
“If I can stop hitting the crossbar and finish my chances it will boost our overall goal scoring.”
What key skills do you have that separates you from other players?
“I take fake shots more than any other player on my team and it is my best/favorite skill move.”
Who do you look up to on a day to day basis?
“I look up to my parents and God because they, my family and God will always be there for me.”
What keeps you motivated throughout the day?
“Knowing that God is working through me and has a plan for me is all I need to stay happy and motivated.”
What is a pregame ritual you do before games?
“I listen to KB and worship music.”
What are your plans with your soccer career after high school?
“Maybe play for fun, or at college but I’m not planning on trying to make a career out of soccer. I play because I love the sport and it is a gift God has given me.”
