The Penn Freshman Kingsmen Football team dominated the Edwardsburg Eddies 40 – 28 on Thursday, Sept. 19. The win brought the Kingsmen to 3-0 on the season.
The frosh team is led by dynamic duo Yoti Limberopolous and Mason Biernacki.
Limberopolous connecting with Biernacki for a 28-yard passing touchdown and a 22-yard passing touchdown. Those two plays brings their total to six touchdowns and over 300 yards just between the players so far this season.
On the ground, Malakhi Campbell breaks in for 11 and 14-yard touchdown runs.
James Savannah weaves in and out of the defense and finishes with a score, followed by a Tate Clark 2-yard run pounded in for the Kingsman seventh touchdown on the night.
The wild bunch had one key takeaway when Ethan Horner recovered a fumble and the Kingsman kickers shoot four total extra points up.
It was another display of dominance by the Freshman Kingsmen and they begin to prepare to take on the Marian Knights on Thursday, Sept. 26 and continue their undefeated season.
