Football: Kingsmen open Sectional at home against Warsaw

The sectional pairings are in and The Gold and Black Attack will host Warsaw in the first state of the 2018 IHSAA Football State Championship Tournament.

No. 4 Penn (7-1) dominated No. 11 Warsaw (6-2) in last year’s Sectional Championship, 40-0. On the other side of the sectional, a familiar opponent, No. 10 Valparaiso (6-2), will match up against Chesterton (3-5).

The winners of both games will dual for a Sectional Championship on Friday, November 2. The Big Boys on Bittersweet are looking to make another deep run in the quest for a State Title. Last season the Kingsmen reached the State Championship Game.

Tickets for Sectional Games $6 each and kickoff for the Sectional game on Friday, Oct. 26, is 7 p.m. ET.
