Boys Wrestling: Penn competes in Al Smith Invite

One of the best high school wrestling events in Indiana, the Al Smith Invitational, will be held at Mishawaka High School on Friday, December 27, 2024, and Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024.

Action in the 46th annual event starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.

In addition to Penn, competing teams include Bellmont, Bloomington South, Indianapolis Cathedral, Center Grove, Chesterton, Columbus East, Crown Point, Elkhart, Fort Wayne Snider, Garrett, Hobart, Jimtown, Lake Central, LaPorte, Lowell, Merrillville, Mishawaka, Mount Vernon, New Prairie, NorthWood, Peru, Plymouth, Portage, Prairie Heights, S.B. Riley, Warren Central, Warsaw Community, Wawasee, Western, Westfield and Zionsville.

The Finals will be held on Saturday. The finals introduction is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are the same each day $12 for adults and $6 for kids all day.
