On Friday, Apr. 28 the Penn High School Boys Track & Field team competed in the Max Truex Invite, placing third. Fort Wayne Carroll won the meet with a score of 109.5, followed by Warsaw with a score of 91.5 and then Penn with a score of 84.
The Max Truex Invite brings top schools from all over the region due to its scoring, combining two athletes’ scores from each team in each event.
Penn scored first in the 300 hurdles scoring a 1:21.19. Penn also dominated and took first place in the high jump scoring a 12-8.
The Kingsmen now look forward to the NIC meet on Thursday, May 11.
