On March 4 the Penn Kingsmen Boys Track & Field Team competed at the Purdue Indoor Invite.
Senior Owen Boverhuis made it to the finals of the 55 meter hurdles.
“I was excited to get out and run, there’s definitely some people I want to beat this year,” Boverhuis said.
Breakout Freshman Brayden Mainwaring had massive improvement with a sub-5 minute mile.
“I really wanted to show what I can do, and am glad I got the opportunity to beat some people,” Mainwaring said.
Penn Junior Thomas Saia also ran the mile.
“It was a great opportunity to get out there and run this early in the season. I have a lot of work to do to get better this year,” Saia said.
The meet at Purdue was not scored, so there is no official score report, but the Kingsmen did well across all disciplines.
