In the match against Concord, Penn’s depth showed across the lineup.

At No. 2 singles, Dylan Albert won 6–2, 6–3, while at No. 3 singles, Will Denniston earned a 6–2, 6–0 victory.

In doubles, No. 1 team Josh Weaver and Aaron Yoon continued their dominant run with a 6–1, 6–1 win, and No. 2 doubles pair Ben Stambaugh and Jacob Kyle battled through two close sets to take it 7–5, 6–4.

Moving on to the championship against Goshen, the Kingsmen completely took control.

At No. 1 singles, Quinn Lippert rolled to a 6–0, 6–1 victory. Albert followed with a perfect 6–0, 6–0 win at No. 2 singles, and Denniston finished his match 6–0, 6–1 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, Weaver and Yoon fought through a tough first-set tiebreak before closing 7–6  (7–1), 6–3, while Stambaugh and Kyle wrapped up the sweep 7–6 (7–4), 6–2.

Although Quinn Lipert suffered a tough loss earlier in the tournament to Adam Burkert, which ended his individual state run, he continues to play a key role for the Kingsmen as a strong presence at the top singles spot. The No. 1 doubles team Aaron Yoon and Josh Weaver remain undefeated through the state tournament so far. Their consistency and teamwork will be crucial as Penn moves on to tougher opponents.

With the regional title secured, Penn advances to the Homestead Semi-State, where they will face Fort Wayne Carroll, ranked 14th in the state, while Penn sits at 18th. The two top-20 teams will face off at 12:00 p.m. at Homestead High School.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 Homestead will play No. 13 Delta, setting up a loaded semi-state field. This upcoming matchup will truly test Penn’s depth and resilience. The Kingsmen have already faced four of the top five teams in the state, holding competitive matches on several courts, mainly in doubles, where they earned a win at No. 1 doubles against Homestead earlier in the year, as well as No. 2 doubles, picking up wins against Culver Academy and Saint Joe.
