Penn’s Kingsmen knocked off archrival South Bend St. Joseph, 3-2, to capture the Portage Boys Tennis Regional Championship. The Kingsmen beat Chesterton 4-1 in the first round.
Coach Eric Bowers’ Kingsmen earned their 11th Regional Championship in program history.
Penn advances to the Culver Academy Semistate on Saturday, Oct. 7, to play host Culver Academy at noon.
