Boys Swim/Dive: Kingsmen set sights on State

After a record-setting performance at the Sectional, the Penn Boys Swim/Dive is heading to the Indiana High School Athletic Association Boys Swimming & Diving State Finals at the Indiana University Indianapolis Natatorium.

Penn set a state-record with 590 points scored in last week’s Sectional.

The State Finals represent the highest level of high school competition in Indiana, bringing together athletes who have worked all season for the chance to race on the biggest stage. After months of early practices, intense training, and postseason competition, qualifying swimmers have earned the opportunity to represent Penn among the state’s elite.

Preliminary races will determine heat placements, with the fastest swimmers advancing to championship finals later in the meet.

Facing top programs from around Indiana, Penn swimmers will rely on preparation, teamwork, and confidence as they compete under the bright lights of the state meet atmosphere. With school pride on the line and a season’s worth of effort behind them, the team looks to deliver strong performances and finish the year on a high note.

Competing at State Finals is an accomplishment in itself, and the Kingsmen are ready to make the most of the opportunity in Indianapolis.
