Boys Swimming: Penn claims Sectional Championship

Penn Boys Swimming/Diving stormed to 10 blue ribbons in 12 events to earn the Mishawaka Swimming/Diving Sectional Championship on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020.

Penn racked up 543 points. South Bend Riley placed second with 380 points, followed by New Prairie at third with 305 points.

Brock Zuyderwyk led the Kingsmen with four Sectional Championship blue ribbons.

Joel Cummins took first place in three events.

Joseph Radde, Aaron Dies, Kyle Brothers and Matthew Howell were Sectional Champions in two events each.

Connor Craig, Tomas Salas and Nathan Grant won Sectional Championships in one event each.

Diving: 1. Tomas Salas 414.80; 3. Dominick George 359.65.

100 butterfly: 1. Joseph Radde 50.02; 4. Kyle Brothers 53.89; 6. Nathaniel Reininga 55.95.

100 freestyle: 1. Brock Zuyderwyk 46.69; 3. Connor Craig 47.86; 5. Joseph Ferraro 51.20.
