Boys Soccer: Penn ties Goshen

Goshen, IND. – The No. 12 Penn Kingsmen (10-2-3) played 60 minutes of scoreless soccer against the Goshen RedHawks (5-7-1) until the RedHawks went up 1-0. The Kingsmen answered back scoring to tie it up less than 5 minutes later. The Kingsmen tied the RedHawks 1-1.

KEY MOMENTS

  • Junior Ty Lacognato fired in the back of the net to tie it up 1-1 for the Kingsmen
  • Senior Keeper Jacob Shockey set a record for the Kingsmen Soccer Program with a career recorded 21 shut out halves or 755 minutes of not having a single goal recorded against him. That streak ended in the matchup tonight against the RedHawks in the second half. 
  • The Kingsmen ended their official conference play with a record of (10-3-3).
