Boys Soccer: Penn holds off Adams

South Bend, Ind. –  The No. 14 Penn Kingsmen (4-1-3) played 65 minutes of scoreless soccer against the South Bend Adams Eagles (1-2).  David Ross had a tap in goal to put the Kingsmen up 1-0 at Tallman-Beyrer Field on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020.

KEY MOMENTS 

  • Senior David Ross had a breakaway and put the ball in the back of the net in the 65th minute putting the Kingsmen up 1-0.
  • The Eagles came out flying putting the Kingsmen under heavy pressure in the first half with great defensive work from Charles Furry helping the Kingsmen keep it 0-0.
  • In the second half, the Kingsmen played super aggressive with a total of 8 shots in the first 5 minutes.
