Boys Soccer: Kingsmen shock St. Joseph

Penn’s Joseph Shockey delivers the game-winner in a 1-0 victory against rival St. Joe

Mishawaka, IND. – The Penn Kingsmen played 74 minutes of scoreless soccer against the Saint Joe Indians in a Northern Indiana Conference showdown. The Indians owned a three-year winning streak in the huge rivalry match. The Kingsmen battled out a victory defeating the Indians 1-0. 

 

KEY MOMENTS 

  • Free-kick goal by Joseph Shockey in the 74th minute put the Kingsmen up 1-0
  • Huge save by Senior Keeper Nate Blosser in the 65th minute helps keep the Kingsmen in the game
  • Senior Keeper Kyle Tupper recorded 17 saves helping the Indians in their defensive third.
