The Penn boys cross country team placed fourth at the historic New Prairie Invitational.
The Kingsmen scored 164 points, led by Nick Probst finishing in 20th place with a time of 16:57. Following right behind him was Hudson Kaser placing 21st overall and running a time of 16:58.
Rounding out the top three varsity runners is Will Mickelson placing 33rd overall and running a time of 17:11.
The Penn boys varsity Team’s average time was 17:12.
The junior varsity squad placed third with a score of 90. Nate Pratt led the Kingsmen with an individual first place finish in a time of 18:17. Second for the pack was Brayden Mammolenti, placing 7th overall with a time of 18:55. Brett Spriggs finished 27th overall with a final time of 19:43. The JV´s average time was 19:26.
The Kingsmen also participated in the freshman/sophomore race, scoring 110 points and placing 3rd overall. The Kingsman top runner was Kush Grewel placing 12th overall and running a time of 18:17. Coming in about 12 seconds after was Tyler Rerick running an 18:29 and placing 17th. Placing 26th for Penn running a 19:05 was Noah Koroscil. The Penn 9/10 team had an average time of 18:51.
