Noah Applegate turned the Kingsmen Court into a launching pad, as the 6-foot-6 Senior All-State Candidate soared for 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead Penn to a 79-50 high school basketball victory against Bremen on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019.
Penn, ranked No. 5 in Class 4-A, improved to 15-2 overall and 9-0 in the Northern Indiana Conference. Bremen is 7-9 overall and 2-6 in the NIC.
Applegate’s point total included an electrifying thunderdunk in the second half.
Drew Lutz scored 16 points and dished out eight rebounds.
Beau Ludwick punched the Lions with a 16-point effort. He also fought for six rebounds, dished out four assists and ripped off three steals.
Freshman Richard Brooks scored 11 points.
