Senior point guard Ben Murphy scored 18 points and led Penn to an 81-66 victory at Michigan City in non-conference Boys Basketball action on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.
Penn took command in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Wolves 24-10.
Murphy connected on 6-of-8 three-pointers to lead a 54.3 percent shooting effort by the Kingsmen.
Christian Bonner scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Sophomore All-State Candidate Caleb Coolman contributed a double-double – 14 points and 14 rebounds. The 6-foot-5 point guard, who led the state last season with a 92 percent free-throw shooting percentage, hit 6-of-6 free throws.
Cody Evans scored 12 points.
Makale Price scored eight points, Freshman Mi’Kell Burton scored seven points and kicked out three assists, and Lucas Obermeyer scored six points.
