Boys Basketball: Coolman scores 28 in loss to St. Joseph

Sophomore Caleb Coolman scored 28 points but No. 15 (4-A) South Bend St. Joseph defeated No. 12 Penn, 67-58, in high school Boys Basketball play at St. Joseph on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026.

Penn is 14-4 overall and 4-1 in the Northern Indiana Conference. St. Joseph is 15-4 overall and 5-0 in the NIC.

Coolman also had seven rebounds and three assists.

Lucas Obermeyer scored seven points and had six rebounds.

Christian Bonner and Mi’Kell Burton scored six points each.

Makale Price had five points and five rebounds.
