Boys Basketball: Penn rallies past Washington

Penn outscored South Bend Washington 22-12 in the final quarter to rally for a 61-58 victory in Northern Indiana Conference high school Boys Basketball play on Friday, Feb. 12.
Gabe Gatete made a critical steal and hit the go-ahead free throw, and Markus Burton connected on two free throws to seal the victory.
Markus Burton led Penn with 22 points and 7 assists.
Caleb Applegate scored 16 points, including two clutch 3’s in the fourth quarter.
Joe Smith scored 9 points.
