Penn Boys Basketball Coach Al Rhodes earns career victory No. 650

Penn High School Basketball Coach Al Rhodes earned career victory No. 650 as the Kingsmen raced past Warsaw, 71-59, Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, in Boys Basketball action.

Markus Burton scored 36 points to lead the Kingsmen. Joey Garwood scored 16 points, and Joe Smith scored 11 points.

Rhodes is the fourth-winningest current coach in Indiana with an overall record of 650-316 (.673) in 41 seasons. The Penn graduate coached Warsaw to a state championship in 1984. He guided the Tigers for 22 seasons, posting a 405-133 record during that span.

A member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Rhodes is 196-124 in 14 seasons at Penn. He is the winningest Boys Basketball coach at both Penn and Warsaw.
