Boys Basketball: Kingsmen storm past New Prairie

Penn stormed to a 19-0 first quarter lead and rolled past host New Prairie, 72-21, Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, in a Northern Indiana Conference high school boys basketball game.

Penn is now 4-0 under the guidance of first-year Kingsmen Head Coach Barak Coolman. The Kingsmen boast a 2-0 record in the NIC. Penn hosts Concord on Friday. New Prairie is 0-3 (0-2 in the NIC).

Trey Miller led the Kingsmen in scoring with 14 points. The Senior sharpshooter connected on 4-of-5 three-pointers and was 5-of-6 shooting overall.

Dominic Bonner scored 13 points.

Casey Finn scored nine points and worked for eight rebounds.

Peyton Miamba scored nine points.

Ethan Good scored eight points and dished out seven dimes.

Maverick Brown scored six points and had four assists.

Nolan McCullough scored four points, battled inside for eight rebounds, and passed for five assists.
