Boys Basketball: Kingsmen power past Glenn

Penn jumped out to an early lead and maintained the upperhand as the Kingsmen defeated host Glenn, 56-45, on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. The victory allowed Penn to keep a share of the top spot in the Northern Indiana Conference in high school boys basketball.

Penn improves to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the NIC. The Kingsmen play at South Bend Adams on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Glenn is 9-7 overall and 3-4 in the NIC.

Trey Miller led a balanced Kingsmen attack with 12 points, and Dominic Bonner scored 11 points.

Alexander Hawthorne connected on three 3-pointers in the first quarter to help stake Penn to a 16-5 first quarter lead.

Maverick Brown scored eight points.
