Baseball: Kingsmen shut out the Lancers

Published on

Penn’s Colton Rerick strong-armed Michigan power Lakeshore, working six innings and striking out 14 in Penn’s 6-0 victory. He only allowed one hit.

Rerick has struck out 31 out of the 44 batters he’s faced so far this season.

To keep the offense hot, Bennett Hartford and Will Barnes each were 2-of-3 with an RBI.

Dalton Zultanski and Hartford each lined doubles, and River Pecina tripled.

The Kingsmen also lit up the basepaths with five stolen bases from Brayden Plummer, Mason Braun, Will Barnes, Kyler Kaczmarski, and Bennett Hartford.
