Baseball: Penn turns back Elkhart Memorial

Penn rallies to beat Elkhart Memorial

Penn High’s Kingsmen pushed across two runs in the third inning to erase a 2-1 deficit, and held on to defeat Elkhart Memorial, 3-2, in high school baseball action on Saturday, April 29.

Chase McKenzie pitched six innings to pick up the win. The junior gave up one earned run and six hits. He struck out seven and walked two.

Kegan Hoskins pitched one inning to earn the save, striking out three batters.

Ryan Lynch led the Kingsmen offense with three hits and two RBI’s.
