Penn pitchers Adam Lehmann and Dawson French combined to pitch a perfect game as No. 1-ranked Penn defeated LaPorte, 1-0, in the 2023 Baseball Season Opener.
Lehmann pitched five innings for the defending State Champions, striking out nine.
French pitched two innings in relief and struck out three.
Cooper Hums scored the Kingsmen goal in the fourth inning. Hums doubled, took third on a ground out by Cameron Dombrowski, and scored on a two-out single by Zack Pelletier.
