What traits do you love in a team leader?: Someone that is willing to speak their mind, because sometimes you need to have those tough conversations with teammates in order to better each other and the team as a whole. So I think someone who isn’t scared to speak up is key.
What advice would you give a freshman about Penn Athletics?: I would say that it is important to have fun, and to make the best out of every situation you are put in.
What is your favorite sports movie, and why?: I love “Miracle”. It is a great story about underdogs who worked crazy hard to beat the top team, because no matter if other people believed in them they believed in themselves and that was enough.
What is your favorite pig-out food?: I will always be able to eat donuts, no matter how full I am, I can keep eating donuts.
What do you love about your sport?: I love the sisterhood that I get from my sport and the amount of people I have met and connected with.
If you can have lunch with any living person, who would it be, and what would you talk about?: I would eat lunch with One Direction. It’s not a single person, but I need to see all five of them back together again and we would just talk about anything.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Athletics?: I have learned that you need to be able to adapt to any role you are given and try to complete it to the best of your ability because overall, every role matters.
What are your pre-game rituals?: I always wear my hair in a bun with pre-wrap, tie my shoes a specific way, chew a piece of gum, and draw a smiley face on my leg.
