Penn earns NIC honors

PENN NIC ALL-CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS (complete lists posted below)

• BOYS BASKETBALL: Penn’s Caleb Coolman is the first Freshman named First-Team All-NIC in more than 50 years. NIC records do not go before the 1970-1971 season, so Coolman could be the first Freshman ever selected to the First Team in the NIC.
• GIRLS BASKETBALL: Penn’s Jessa Troy earned first-team All-NIC honors to highlight the Kingsmen Girls Basketball conference selections.
• BOYS SWIM/DIVE: Penn’s Nate Temeles was named Conference MVP and Penn Coach John Van Driessche named NIC Coach of the Year. Penn won the NIC Championship.
• GIRLS SWIM/DIVE: Penn’s Alayna Riggins named Conference co-MVP. Penn won the NIC Championship.
• BOYS WRESTLING: Penn’s Ryann Schmidtendorff named NIC Most Valuable Wrestler. Penn won the NIC Championship.
• GIRLS WRESTLING: Penn’s Janiah Branham named conference Most Valuable Wrestler and Penn Coach Amy Hildebrandt named NIC Coach of the Year. Penn won the NIC Championship.
