Girls Track & Field: Kingsmen seek Sectional title

The 2026 IHSAA Girls Track and Field Sectional will take place on Tuesday, May 19 at Mishawaka High School. Spectator admission is $8 for both students and adults (online service fees may apply), while preschool-aged children accompanied by parents are admitted free.

Penn has won five consecutive Sectional titles. The Kingsmen will be competing with Glenn, LaVille, Marian, Mishawaka, South Bend Adams, South Bend Career Academy, South Bend Riley, South Bend Trinity Academy, South Bend St. Joseph, South Bend Washington.

For fans planning to attend, field events begin at 5 p.m., and the 4×800-meter relay starts at 5:10 p.m. Running trials start at 5:30 p.m. The running finals are scheduled to begin at approximately 6:40 p.m., following team introductions and the National Anthem at 6:30 p.m. Meet officials noted that finals could move ahead of schedule if events progress quickly.

Concessions and spectator seating will be available at the stadium throughout the meet.
