Girls Golf: Penn wins Sectional Crown !!!!
Penn Girls Golf claims Sectional Championship
Penn Girls Golf turned in a dominant performance to claim the 2026 Girls Golf Sectional Championship on Friday, Sept. 18, at Knollwood.
The Kingsmen shot a 348 to place first. South Bend St. Joseph, which defeated Penn by four strokes in the regular season, finished 30 strokes behind the Kingsmen in the Sectional with a 378. Elkhart placed third with a score of 419.
Penn’s championship ended a two-year reign by St. Joseph. The Huskies defeated Penn for the Sectional title by three shots in 2025 and by two shots in 2024.
Penn, St. Joseph and Elkhart advance to the Lake Central Regional next Saturday, Sept. 26, starting at 9 a.m. ET at Sandy Pines.
