Penn’s offensive and defensive turned in masterclass performances on the way to a 69-7 win against South Bend Riley.
Quinn Driscoll led the attack, totaling seven TDs.
Penn’s Emma Kueljtes led the defense, recording three interceptions and one return TD.
Penn had six different players — Dreama Root, Marin Horvath, Lilly McMillen, Liv Dawson, Kiya Garringer and Addyson Abdlejaber — record at least one receiving TD.
Penn’s defense also had a total of eight interceptions, limiting Riley to one touchdown in the entire game, demonstrating Penn’s elite defensive strengths to go along with their explosive offense.
Penn is looking to repeat last year’s success by returning to the state championship and becoming back-to-back champions.
