Football: Kingsmen well represented on North All-Star Team
The 2026 IFCE North-South All-Star Game will feature some of the top high school football players from across Indiana, and defensive lineman Christian Bonner will represent Penn High School.
The North-South Game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at Decatur Central High School.
Penn coaches Pete Riordan and Coly Moore have also both been selected as 2026 ICFA North All-Star Coaches, highlighting the strength of the Kingsmen Program.
Standing at 6-foot-0, 240 pounds, Bonner was a key force at defensive end this season. He totaled 30 tackles and led the team with 6 tackles for loss, consistently disrupting opposing offenses. He added two sacks and nine quarterback pressures, showing his ability to impact the game in the backfield. Bonner also had four pass breakups, along with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, proving to be a great defensive playmaker.
Bonner, an Indiana Wesleyan commit, helped Penn win Sectional and Northern Indiana Conference Championships. He was also on the Unified Track & Field State Championship Team and started on the Basketball Team. He helped Penn win a Sectional Championship in Boys Volleyball.
Bonner will now add to his Kingsmen legacy in the IFCA North-South All-Star Game.
“I’m super grateful for this opportunity, and I’m excited to play with some of the best players in the state,” Bonner said.
