Football: Kingsmen make statement against Mishawaka
Penn rocks the Cavemen 49-7
The Penn Kingsmen Varsity Football team took down the Mishawaka Cavemen, winning 49-7. The Kingsmen came out firing, scoring on their first six possessions.
Landon Hall sparked the offense, going 12-for-14 for 194 yards and two total touchdowns.
Buddy Hurley had four catches for 75 yards and a touchdown, while Mason Biernacki added two catches for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Chase Buckwheat and Tate Clark got the run game going, as Buckwheat ran in for two TDs and Clark had one. Isaiah Andresen also punched a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Kingsmen Defense was dominant and set a tone early as they forced a three-and-out on Mishawaka’s first drive. Caden Armour and Noah Wallis both forced key fumbles.
Luke Cadotte was a perfect 6-of-6 on extra points. Mathias Gonzalez Alcantara also made a PAT.
