Penn Boys Cross Country had a stellar performance, winning all three races they were entered in at the prestigious New Prairie Invite on Saturday.
Through a heavy storm delay and extremely muddy terrain, the racers pushed through to bring three trophies and dozens of medals home.
Brody Lederer led the varsity race with a sixth-place finish and a time of 16:58.
Will Bagwell also led Penn with a 6th-place finish in the frosh-soph race and a time of 18:00.
Penn’s biggest statement, however, was made in the JV/reserve race, where Evan Wilson (pictured) led a pack of five runners to the first five places, netting Penn a perfect score of 15. He finished with a time of 18:12.
Penn races next at Culver Academy’s Cross Country Invite this Saturday.
