Penn Boys Basketball star Caleb Coolman, a 6-foot-5 sophomore guard will be playing in the Indiana Futures All-Star Game.
The Boys Futures All Star Game will be played at New Palestine High School at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 1. The Girls Futures All-Star Game which will feature Penn Girls Basketball player Jillian Sanderson will be played before the Boys Futures All-Star Game at 6 p.m on Monday, June 1.
This is Coolman’s second year being named to the Futures All-Star Team.
“I had a great experience last year and I’m excited to play against the best underclassmen in the state.” Coolman said.
Some of Coolman’s accomplishments include:
- 2026 NIC 1st Team All- Conference (2nd time)
- IBCA Player of the Week (Feb. 2-7)
- 2026 IBCA boys’ All-State Underclassmen Supreme 15
- 2026 South Bend Tribune All Area 1st team
- 2026 Elkhart Truth All Area 1st team
- Selected to the 2026 IBCA Future’s Game
- 2026 Prep Hoops Second Team All-State
- 2026 Associated Press 3rd Team All-State (Only Soph to make the team)
This season, Coolman averaged 21.4 points a game, 6.0 assists a game and 8.5 rebounds a game. He also shot an impressive 48.5 percent from the field and 88.7% from the free-throw line.
