Boys Basketball: Penn wraps up perfect home-court record for 2021-2022 season

Joe Smith and Markus Burton scored 21 and 20 points respectively as No. 6 Penn pulled away from Merrillville, 70-49, in high school basketball play on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022.

The Kingsmen wrapped up a perfect 10-0 home-court record for the 2021-2022 season. The last time a Penn Boys Basketball Team was unbeaten at home was in the 2013-2014 season. Penn has had six unbeaten records at home in program history. The record is an 11-0 home-court record set in the 1995-1996 season.

Burton also had nine rebounds and six assists.

Trey Miller scored eight points, and Joey Garwood scored six points.
