Varsity Football: Kingsmen take down Valparaiso 49-24
Landon Hall passed for six touchdowns and the Penn Football team rolled to a 49-24 victory against Valparaiso in the season opener.
Hall connected on 16-of-21 passes for 315 yards.
Buddy Hurley hauled in four strikes from Hall for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Ethan Horner contributed four receptions for 112 yards and two TDs.
Mason Biernacki had two TD receptions and finished with four catches for 44 yards.
Yoti Limberopoulos also had a TD receptions.
Chase Buckwheat led the Kingsmen ground attack with eight carries for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Tate Clark rushed nine times for 56 yards.
The Penn defense also had an amazing game with linebacker Noah Wallis punishing the Vikings for 10 tackles and one fumble recovery.
Maddox Donat made seven tackles and intercepted a pass.
Caleb Tugmon also picked off a pass.
Luke Cadotte was 7-of-7 on PAT kicks.
