What are your pre-game rituals?: On game day, I get Starbucks; before the game, I get an Alani and put my hair in bubbles.
Who is your biggest role model?: My biggest role models are my two older sisters because they’ve set a strong example for me, both academically and athletically.
What is your favorite memory with Penn Softball?: My favorite memory is getting to travel to Carmel and stay there for a tournament with my team.
What do you love about your sport?: I love the competition and the people I get to play with.
How do you mentally prepare yourself before a big game?: I remind myself to stay positive, focus on what I can control, and to just have fun and compete.
What do you think makes a good team captain?: I think a good captain encourages their teammates, stays positive, and shows up with a good attitude even when things don’t go their way.
What advice would you give a freshman?: My advice to a freshman would be to enjoy it and not be afraid to make mistakes; even professional athletes still make mistakes.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from softball?: The most important lesson I’ve learned is to stay positive and just focus on what I can control; negativity will never help anything.
What is your favorite sports movie?: My favorite sports movie is The Sandlot.
