Penn High School will host the 2026 Tom Heck Varsity Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, featuring eight teams competing throughout the day in the Penn Arena and Auxiliary Gym. General admission is $8, and tickets are valid for the entire day. Concessions will also be available.
The tournament features the host Penn Kingsmen, Carroll, Lake Central, Lawrence North, Elkhart, NorthWood, Bishop Noll and Chesterton. Pool play begins at 9 a.m., with matches scheduled approximately every hour through the afternoon.

The 3:30 p.m. matches will pit the third-place teams from each pool against one another in the Arena and the fourth-place teams in the Auxiliary Gym. At approximately 4:30 p.m., the Pool A and Pool B winners will meet for the tournament championship in the Arena, while the second-place teams will play in the consolation match in the Auxiliary Gym. Times are approximate, and matches will immediately follow one another, meaning the tournament may run ahead of schedule.
Matches will be played in a best two-out-of-three format, with the first two sets played to 25 points and a third set, if necessary, played to 15. All sets must be won by two points. A championship plaque will be presented to the tournament winner.
