Girls Tennis: NIC Champion Penn dominates conference honors

Penn Girls Tennis capped off an outstanding 2025-26 season by earning numerous Northern Indiana Conference All-Conference honors while claiming the NIC championship with an undefeated 7-0 conference record.

Leading the way was sophomore Olivia Wu, who was named the NIC Most Valuable Player after earning First Team All-NIC honors at No. 1 singles. Penn head coach Eric Bowers was named the NIC Coach of the Year.

Joining Wu on the First Team All-NIC squad were junior Gabby Roland at No. 3 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of seniors Amina Spahic and Mary Kirleis.

On the Second Team All-NIC squad, Samantha Pischalko earned recognition at No. 2 singles, while Hayden Streigel and Ava Lightburn were selected as the No. 1 doubles Second Team representatives.
