The Penn Kingsmen Football Program will be well represented in the annual North-South All-Star Game sponsored by the Indiana Football Coaches Association.

Defensive end Christian Bonner will play for the North All-Stars, and Penn Head Coach Pete Riordan and assistant coach Coley Moore will be assistant coaches for the North.

The North-South Game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Decatur Central High School.

Standing at 6-foot-0, 240 pounds, Bonner was a key force at defensive end this season. He totaled 30 tackles and led the team with six tackles for loss, consistently disrupting opposing offenses. Bonner added 2 sacks and 9 quarterback pressures, showing his ability to impact the game in the backfield. Bonner also had 4 pass breakups, along with 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery, proving to be a great defensive playmaker.

“I’m super grateful for this opportunity, and I’m excited to play with some of the best players in the state,” Bonner said.

In addition to his All-Star selection, Bonner is committed to continue his football career at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Riordan’s selection as a 2026 IFCA North All-Star Coach reflects the respect he has earned across Indiana. He completed his second season as Penn’s head coach, leading the Kingsmen to Sectional and Northern Indiana Conference championships in 2025. Penn was 11-1 this past season.

Before taking over, Riordan spent two decades as an assistant coach, including time as defensive coordinator, helping build the program’s long-standing success and tradition.

“It’s a great honor to coach for the North in the North-South All-Star game,” Riordan said. “Penn has been well-represented over the years and we feel fortunate to continue representing Penn. Coach Moore is also going to be on the staff and Christian Bonner will be playing DE for the North Team. We are looking forward to a great week in July.”

Offensive coordinator Moore has coached at Penn for two years. He has been coaching for 17 years. He played a major role in Penn’s success, leading the offense and contributing to player development.

“It is truly an honor and a privilege to have been selected to coach in the North/South All-Star Game,” Moore said. “I’m especially grateful to be chosen alongside Head Coach Pete Riordan. It speaks volumes about the direction our program is heading and reflects the hard work, commitment, and dedication of both our players and coaching staff at Penn High School. I’m incredibly proud to represent our school and community, and I’m looking forward to being a part of such a great event.”
