Hockey: Penn’s Knapick earns Watt STEM scholarship

Penn Hockey Black Captain Evan Knapick was selected to earn the prestigious Dr. Jeffrey X. Watt STEM Academic Achievement Scholarship Award from the Indiana State High School Hockey Association.

This competitive, academic-based award is given to a student-athlete who shows outstanding achievement in science and math while also excelling in high school hockey.

Knapick was chosen for this distinguished honor because of his hard work, dedication, and success both in the classroom and on the ice. He received a $1,000 scholarship as part of the award. His leadership as a captain, along with his strong commitment to academics and athletics, truly sets him apart. The Penn Hockey community is extremely proud of Evan’s accomplishments and congratulates him on this well-earned and impressive achievement.
