Boys Basketball: Defense powers Penn victory against Center Grove

Caleb Coolman scored 15 points and Penn’s defense limited Center Grove to 34.9 percent field-goal shooting as the Kingsmen earned a 50-42 victory in Boys Basketball action at the Homestead Holiday Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025.

In addition to Coolman leading Penn with 15 points, the 6-foot-5 point guard worked for 13 rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Lucas Obermeyer, Cody Evans and Makale Price scored seven points each.

Mi’Kell Burton scored six points, had two assists and three steals.
