What is the most important lesson you’ve learned through Penn Girls Volleyball?: The most important thing I have learned from Penn Volleyball is to have good communication skills.
What are your pre-game rituals?: My pregame ritual that my team does is praying before every game.
Who is a player (at any level) you look up to, and why?: A player I look up to is Lexi Rodriguez, she plays the position that I play (libero) she also inspires me because she had difficult obstacles that she had overcome such as winning the libero spot.
What is a challenge you’ve faced?: I had to choose between soccer and volleyball because they were the same season.
What are your strengths as a volleyball player?: My strengths are that I communicate, bring positive energy, and I am coachable.
What do you love most about representing Penn High School?: What I love most about representing PHS is that I am not just playing for myself but I am playing for the whole school and my team and it makes me want to reach my full potential.
How do you handle stress and pressure?: I handle stress and pressure by remembering what I can and can’t control and learn from my mistakes.
How do you keep your teammates feeling positive and motivated during a loss?: I keep them feeling positive and motivated by setting the tone right after the game and keeping the energy high at practices.
How do you balance Athletics with Academics?: I balance athletics and academics by trying to manage my time and do academics during the car ride or bus ride.
How do you stay motivated during the off-season?: I stay motivated during the off-season by finding goals and trying to complete them.
