JV Football: Kingsmen dominate South Bend Riley

Penn JV Football dominated South Bend Riley, 40-0, on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Riley had zero yards of offense as the Kingsmen extended their scoreless streak to 12 quarters.

Coltan Hearld led the defense with a leaping interception. Ethan Horner and Zaehn Hughes also picked off passes.

Cooper Reihl punished Riley with five tackles for loss, and JaKarrie Jones made three tackles for loss.

Brady Scalise recovered a fumble.

Dutch Jones, Gavin Haught and Brady Scalise each had one tackle for loss.

Quarterback Luke Burkey was 7 -of-7 passing for 92 yards and 3 TDs.

Caleb Evans caught three TD passes.
Marek Wilson threw a 13-yard TD pass.

Tate Clark rushed for 92 yards and a TD on 10 carries,

Steve Traeger gained 40 yards and scored a touchdown.
